Water treatment in spray booths with wet filtration

Effective and continuous removal of paints from water is crucial for proper air filtration in a spray booth.

In most cases it is the details that determine the effectiveness of water treatment, which is why we consult the technical aspects of spray booths as early as the design stage. We supply paint coagulation and flotation processes from start to finish, and during the initial start-up we train the crew and remain available to provide complete technical and service support.

Chemifor

We supply industrial paint shops with complete, ready-made and effective systems for paint coagulation and flotation.

We are here for you if…

At the stage of planning an investment concerning spray booths with a water curtain, we will talk about when it is possible to give up a continuous water treatment system and when its use becomes a necessity. We will explain coagulation and paint flotation and how the various components of our systems function. We will also suggest what to look for when planning the water cycle in terms of its future treatment. Then, we will analyse whether our solutions will work for your project, and finally present you with conclusions and data to help you make a decision that benefits your paint shop.

An alternative to continuous water treatment consists in cyclical water replacement combined with simultaneous booth servicing. In some situations, this alternative makes economic sense and is preferable to investing in an automatic paint separation system. However, if the parameters of the painting process, such as the amount of used paint (overspray going into the water) or the type of detail being painted change over time, it may turn out that the intervals between water changes need to be considerably shorter. This, combined with the rising prices of waste disposal and the cost of system servicing , may result in periodic water replacement no longer presenting the best option. During a free workshop, we will analyse the painting process and develop solutions that will benefit your paint shop.
